~ Managing God's gifts to fulfill commitments ~
As a household of Ball is Life with our two basketball loving children, we watched the NBA ALL-STAR weekend events as we do every year. However, this year was a different!
For those that are B-Ball lovers like us, you would have seen History in the making with the 3pt contest between the amazing Steph Curry and the AMAZING Sabrina Ionescu.
That's right!
A WNBA player was in the building and on a Men's live NBA programming event!
Although Steph took the win, Sabrina BEAT the actual NBA players that participated and TIED the win of the actual 3pt Contest winner!
She DID that y'all!
In her interview she made the most powerful statement that has sat on my heart. She said "If you can shoot, you can shoot".

I felt as if God used Sabrina in that moment as she spoke directly to us by reminding us of our abilities and superpowers He bestows upon us!
I mean why do we constantly doubt and second guess our abilities? Our limiting beliefs will keep us deep in a rut if we do not open our eyes and stand BOLDLY in His promises. We must steward our gifts because if you can shoot, SHOOT!
Here's the deal, we often encounter diverse gifts and talents bestowed upon us by a higher authority. As believers, many of us recognize that these gifts are ultimately from God, and it is our duty to manage them wisely. Stewardship involves acknowledging, nurturing, and utilizing these gifts to their fullest potential, not just for our own benefit but also to fulfill the plans and promises that God has for our lives.
When we acknowledge the importance of managing God's gift, we align ourselves with His divine purpose for us. By understanding that these gifts are intentional and not random, we begin to view them as instruments for bringing positive change to our lives and the lives of others. Whether it's a musical talent, a desire to help others, or a knack for leadership, each gift is meant to serve a higher cause.
When we are responsible with stewarding God's gift, we demonstrate our faith and confidence in Him. This illustrates our gratitude for the blessings we have received and our willingness to actively utilize them. As we dedicate time, effort, and resources to nurture and apply our gifts, we position ourselves to witness the realization of God's promises in our lives.
As we embark on this new week, let us commit to managing God's gift with purpose and intention, understanding that by doing so, we are stepping into the rich and fulfilling life He has prepared for us.
